수확이 끝난 11월 넷째 주 목요일이 되면 미국에서는 추수감사절을 지낸다. 미국의 명절인 추수감사절을 한국의 기독교에서도 지키고 있다. After harvest season November the 4th week Thursday Americans have celebrated Thanksgiving Day. Here is South Korea protestant churches also celebrate American National Holiday Thanksgiving Day.

 

1620년 9월 16일. 윌리엄 브래드퍼드(William Bradford)를 비롯한 102명의 청교도들이 영국의 종교박해를 피해, 메이플라워호를 타고 영국의 플리머스항)을 떠나 12월, 플리머스 항구에 도착했다. Yet half of them lost their lives resulting from cold winter and scurby. Native indians thought them how to farming. As a result of indians' help, they had full of harvest successfully in 1621 fall. William Bradford and pilgrims with indians paid thanks festival with prayer and festival. From that time on to early 1680s

 

1789년, 미국의 초대 대통령 조지 워싱턴(George Washington)이 추수감사절을 11월 26일로 정하고 국경일로 제정해 기념했다. 그러나 미국의 3대 대통령 토머스 제퍼슨(Thomas Jefferson)이 영국의 관습이라며 추수감사절을 폐지했다. The first President George Washington in the United States set November 26 every year as Thanksgiving National Holiday in 1789. Yet, the 3rd President Thomas Jefferson abolished Thanksgiving Day as just British custom

 

1863년 미국의 16대 대통령인 에이브러햄 링컨(Abraham Lincoln)이 11월 마지막 주 목요일을 추수감사주간으로 정했고 32대 대통령인 프랭클린 루즈벨트(Franklin Delano Roosevelt)가 상인들의 요청으로 추수감사절을 한 주 앞당겨 11월 넷째 주 목요일로 변경한 이래 11월 넷째 주 목요일이 되면 추수감사절을 기념하고 있다. 캐나다에서는 10월 둘째 주 월요일을 추수감사절로 기념하고, 영국은 8월 1일에, 한국 교회는 11월 셋째 주 일요일에 추수감사절을 기념하고 있다. In 1863, the 16th President Abraham Lincoln set November the last week as the week of Thanksgiving Day every year. The 32th President Franklin Delano Roosevelt accepted merchants suggestion and set November the 4th week Thursday Thanksgiving Day National Holiday every year. In Britain, August first Sunday, in Canada, the second week Monday in South Korea, 3rd week Sunday every year have memorizing Thanksgiving National Holiday.

 

한국 추석 한가위의 유래 The orgin of Korean Hangawi Thanksgiving Day

추석은 음력 8월 15일로 한가위·중추절 등으로 불리는 우리나라의 명절이다. Autumn Full Moon holiday has been called Hangawi or Mid-Autumn Festival as Korean Thanksgiving National Holiday.

 

추석은 1년 중 가장 큰 보름달을 맞이하는 달의 명절이다. 우리조상은 풍년에·감사하며 밥, 떡·술을 빚어 조상에게 차례를 지내고 성묘하여 그 은혜에 보답했다. Hangawi National Holiday is the season the largest full moon we can see every year. Our ancestors had thanked for good harvest year with Korean bread and wine and with ancestral rites

 

삼국사기에 의하면 신라 3대 유리왕때 음력 7월15일부터 한가위까지 국가적 명절로 추석을 기념하는 축제가 유래된다고 한다. According to the history of three kingdoms, Hangawi national festival came from the 3rd king Youri of Sylla period from Junly 15th to Hangawi in lunar calender

 

제사에서 조상을 신격화하기 때문에 한국 크리스찬은 제사 대신 기도와 감사로 대신해왔다. In ancestral rites, ancestors have been regarded as gods, so christians have used to pray and thank instead of ancestral rites.

그럼에도 다시 거론하는 것에 불과하고 결국 이재명에 대한 기소에 대한 보복이자 이재명 범죄를 흐리게 하려는 물타기에 지나지 않는다. Nevertheless, opposition party request special public prosecution once again over the same allegation is just retribution and muddy the water over the indictment of crime for Lee Jae-myung.

엘리자베스 2세 여왕의 서거도 같은 교훈을 준다. 여왕은 재임 70년 동안 미국과 협력하여 공산주의와 대결하여 러시아연방을 해체하고 동구공산권이 몰락하고 폴락드가 독립하고 독일이 통일하는 자유민주주의 승리시대의 영적 지도자인 여왕의 서거. 여왕은 위대한 역사적 유산을 남겼다고 트럼프 대통령은 애도했다.
